Why Our Martial Arts Classes Work

At Shiba Taekwondo, each class is thoughtfully designed to teach valuable life skills such as discipline, focus, and perseverance while promoting a healthy lifestyle through movement and strength training. Our programs aim to boost confidence—especially in children and teens—and foster a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect among students. With a clear path for advancement through belt levels, every participant is encouraged to grow at their own pace. We take pride in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels seen, supported, and valued. Led by experienced black belt instructors, including Master Cherith Shiba, our classes ensure that each student receives personalized guidance based on their individual ability and potential.

Our Core Martial Arts Classes

We’ve designed our primary class offerings to align with students’ developmental stages. Each program includes warm-ups, skill development, forms (poomsae), partner drills, and life skill lessons rooted in discipline and respect.
